Understanding Time Violence

Time Violence occurs whenever a process, policy, or interface consumes more human time than is operationally or informationally necessary.

The Time Violence Score combines two sources of waste:

Operational Latency: Time lost to procedure — queues, delays, forms, redundancies
Informational Distortion: Time lost to uncertainty, confusion, or opacity (0-1 scale)

Every hospital queue, bureaucratic delay, or opaque algorithm registers a positive TV(S). When that score exceeds the threshold of necessity, the system becomes predatory.
